A - Corrugated Tube
Insuledge is the first insulating glass spacer to incorporate
a hollow, non-metallic, continuous tube design.
B - Sub-Assembly
The flexible tube is wrapped on 3 sides with a moisture resistant
adhesive that ties the moisture barrier to the flexible tube
and promotes a smooth continuous sightline.
C - Moisture Vapor Barrier
Laminated for toughness with a continuous foil layer, the
non-metallic moisture barrier wraps 3 sides of the assembly
adhesive creating a long continuous moisture path.
D - Bondline Adhesive
A proven high performance bond line adhesive with excellent
adhesion to glass and superior moisture and gas permeability
properties.
E - Gray Desiccated Topcoat
A concentrated desiccant top coat inside the moisture barrier
develops rapid dew point results.
Passes ASTM E774, CGBS 12.8, and CEN.
